Real crowd pleaser!

"Super fun boat that takes some air. Gets gasps from the crowd as it performs and self-rights at speed. Real crowd pleaser but you'll need a few batteries as running time is short. You'll need some experience. Clocked at 25mph on 3S with GPS speedo, fast enough on my 180ft yacht pond. When I run 4S the ESC burnt out on the 5th run even though it was labelled 2S-4S, so I'd stick to 3S myself. My mates had the same issue with their SR65. If you want to run 4S get the SR80. Now run it about 40 days and only had to replace the ESC as mentioned. Oh, and keep receiver dry (I put mine in a plastic box inside the boat). Volantex make superior products I find. Love their warplanes too."

ESC bracket broken

"Received my Atomix X. Taking it out this weekend due to the cold/bad weather. Everything looked good, then noticed the esc bracket was broke, maybe during transportation, not sure. Going to fix it myself. And, taking it out this weekend."

It's fun n turn heads

"Well first off the battery don't last long but I like that I can play with it right out the box. Like doing a test run I guess till my other batteries comes in. With the upgrade battery I can play for 30-40min. NOTE; IT IS NOT SELF RIGHTING. IF U FLIP IT U GOTTA GET IT. Overall I do like it. It handles well."

ESC caught fire

"Fast boat Ran on 3s & 4s one time Went to the lake today with my kids to drive second time I’ve had the boat out… plugged in my battery to the xt60 connector… poof flames Several others have reported this as well.. ordered another ESC from hobby king… I’ll install and try again"

Brandon M. (4/5)

Sweet boat!

"I've taken this to Five Mile lake in Auburn Washington twice now and so far haven't had any real issues. Both times were a blast, though I definitely recommend some aftermarket batteries... decent ones, like Gens Ace, and at least 3000mah. I've been using "boat tape" I bought off Amazon to help keep water from getting in the hatch, turns out it was the kind they sell at RC hobby stores. It does take some of the paint off the boat but it seems to work. Anyway I like this boat so much that I ordered its big brother the SR80 pro straight from China."

Justin H. (5/5)

Go slow around turns or you will flip

"The only thing I don't like about this boat is its not self righting. Other than that is pretty cool good-looking and pretty quick"

Q&A

Would the vector SR65 parts work with this model? Like the drive shaft, I own the vector SR65B and I’m trying to find the drive shaft part, unfortunately, I haven’t succeeded..
Yes, the SR65 parts are the same with this models.
Does this boat handle saltwater without rusting at all
Most of the metal parts are made from stainless steel. But there is still some little parts will rust. So we not recommend to run it in the saltwater. If you run it in saltwater, you should know how to maintain it. After ran, you should clean it by normal water, and use some oil to liquid the shaft etc.
