"The plane flies very well. I am not impressed with the motor. It cogs if you get on the throttle to fast. That limits some of the performance of the plane. I’m trying to find a better motor for the plane."

"These are actually pretty good gliders. The problem is the customer service. If it arrives damaged. (common because they don’t package it well at all) They will offer you $5 off on your next order. It’s a long and arduous process to get any reasonable satisfaction. I guess this is called customer service in China."

"ABS plastic body isn't the greatest idea for a fuselage. A foam fuse would've been much better, and lighter to boot. This glider is heavy without the battery inside it, because of the fuse. Barely any reinforcements inside so basically a plastic tube. In a crash this and any other fuse made of ABS isn't going to be repairable. Now let's talk about all the drag inducers. Trail edge of wing at the fuse has caps, inside of the wing filling it in. Next is the bulge at the rear for the Vertical and horizontal stab. Why? A bolt from bottom of fuse, passing through the horizontal stab and into the bottom of vertical fin. Instead let's put a bulge on both sides and take away from aerodynamics. In short a foam fuselage should've been used! This will be my first and last Volantex plane especially if I read ABS plastic fuselage. Not going to waste good money on plastic!"

- What is the required Li--Po battery for this model? The listing calls out 3 different batteries. 11.1V 2200mAh lipo battery (3S) 14.8V 5000mAh xt60 plug Lipo (4S) 11.1V 2200mAh ~ 5000mAh Li-Po (3S) If weight is needed for balance, will go with the bigger Li-Po to obtain that.
- i use a 4s 5200 with xt60 up against the wheel well for the tiniest bit of nose weight 👌 hope that helps
